Metal blasting – precise preparation for a perfect surface

Blasting is the first and key step to a perfect result.
Using a precisely controlled stream of abrasive, we remove old paint, rust and dirt and prepare the metal surface for subsequent painting, galvanizing or other surface treatments. Each material and each part requires a different approach - that's why we choose the abrasive, pressure and technology exactly according to the shape, hardness and desired result.

 

Surface quality after blasting

Surface quality is a crucial factor for the longevity of the subsequent surface treatment.
Each material requires a different degree of cleanliness depending on the type of environment in which the part will be used.
At Technicolor, we work according to the ČSN ISO 8501-1 standard, which defines the degrees of blasting of metal surfaces.

Thanks to precise pressure regulation, the choice of the appropriate abrasive and the experience of our technicians, we achieve consistent surface quality – from light cleaning to Sa 3 – a visually clean metal surface, ideal for powder coating, galvanizing or other protective layers.
